isn't it possible to include the tensioner into the 25:11...drivetrain?

is there any tension in the chain? i'm still thinking of changing my drivetrain into such one, maybe 28:11, but don't know, whether it's possible to get a tension so that the chain doesn't hit the chainstay, without a chain tensioner or a "turnable bottom bracket"?
